Technology Quiz
Grade Level: IX to Intermediate / A’ Levels

Aim: To stimulate and challenge the students’ theoretical as well as practical knowledge of IT in Pakistan. The Technology Quiz has been designed to provide students with an opportunity for extending the knowledge and understanding that they may acquire through their course syllabus as well as through blogs and websites that talk about the local industry.

This year, the ISEO will be hosting a Technology Quiz which will entail a combination of technical questions as well as Pakistan’s industry-related questions. Schools will be provided with a list of reference websites which they can share with their students for preparation.

Rules:

1. Each school will be represented by 2 participants.
2. All teams will sit for preliminary qualifying written round of 25 questions. Elaborate explanations will not be required.
3. The rounds will comprise audio rounds, visual rounds and straight rounds.
4. The qualifying top 12 teams will be divided into two groups of six each. These teams will move to Semifinal 1 and Semifinal 2.
5. The top 3 from each Semifinal will qualify for the Final Round.
6. Each Semifinal will be of 45 minutes duration.
7. The Quizmasters’ decision will be final and irreversible.
8. The competition will be open only to enrolled students of participating schools.
