Grade Level: Grade Level: XI to Intermediate/ A’ Levels

Note: This event does not require the presence of Outstation Participants. However they are more than welcome to attend, using their personal resources for boarding and lodging.

Topic: A photo essay about changing cultures and communities.

Rules:

  1. Each School may send up to FIVE teams.
  2. Each team will be represented by ONE Participant.
  3. Each participant’s photo entry should comprise of THREE TO FIVE images.
  4. The final prints should be submitted as 8 x 10 inch images, which may be pasted on a single black sheet for display purposes, along with a high-res image of at least 300 DPI on a CD-ROM, which will be reserved for the ISEO Archives.
  5. Participants must refrain from leaving a border around the images or including a title or any extraneous information.
  6. The photographs may be in colour or black and white.
  7. Digital manipulation is permitted but not required.
  8. All entries (photographs and CD-ROMs) must be labeled with the following details printed on a 2inch x 3inch card:
    a. Team Code
    b. School Name
    c. Name of participant

d. Class/Grade

  1. Attending participants should register at the Front Desk of the ISEO venue no earlier than 1 and a half hours prior to the event and no later than half an hour prior to the event.
  2. Participants with the assistance of their Team Leader will be given 1 and a half hours to set up their display at the venue after which they will be asked to vacate the Exhibition Area.
  3. Participants must collect the display Prints between 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on the day of the exhibition. The display Prints will not be available before this time.
  4. The ISEO committee will not be held responsible for any display prints left behind after 6:00 p.m. on the day of the exhibition.
  5. Any content that promotes impropriety, violence, ethnic or religious intolerance or racism is strongly prohibited.
  6. The ISEO committee reserves the right to withdraw any entry it deems inappropriate or unsuitable.
  7. Attendance will be restricted to faculty members and enrolled students of all participating schools.
