Film Making
Grade Level: X to Intermediate / A’ Levels
Topic: Echoes of the Past

Note: This event does not require the presence of Outstation Participants. However, they are more than welcome to attend using their personal resources for boarding and lodging.

Rules:

  1. Each School may send up to THREE teams.
  2. Each team will be represented by a minimum of TWO and a maximum of TWELVE students. Teamwork and division of responsibilities in making the film is encouraged.
  3. A school may enter more than one team, only if each additional team comprises of different members.
  4. The duration of the film must be a minimum of 3 minute and a maximum of 7 minutes long inclusive of the title and list of credits.
  5. The works created may be fictional, documentary or experimental in nature.
  6. Each film must begin with a title and end with a list of credits.
  7. All submissions are to be made on VCD or DVD. Each VCD and DVD must be labeled with:
  • Title
  • Film Duration
  • Team Code
  • School Name
  • List of team members and credits
  1. The VCDs and DVDs submitted will be reserved for the ISEO archives.
  2. The films will be judged on the basis of both content and execution.
  3. Any impropriety, offensive language, gratuitous violence, ethnic and religious intolerance or racism is strongly prohibited.
  4. The ISEO committee reserves the right to withdraw any entry it deems inappropriate or unsuitable.
  5. Attendance will be restricted to faculty members and enrolled students of participating schools.
