ELOCUTION
Grade Level: IV to VI
Language: Urdu

Rules:

  1. Each School may send ONE team.
  2. Each team will be represented by ONE participant only.
  3. All extracts may include poetry or prose ONLY IN URDU.
  4. The selected text should be appropriate to the maturity level of the participants.
  5. A copy of the selected extract must be submitted to the organisers in advance on the day of the competition.
  6. Participants are required to memorise the extract that will be performed. Participants may not use cue-cards of refer to any written material.
  7. The duration of the extract performed should be no less than ONE AND A HALF MINUTES and not exceed THREE minutes.
  8. When the buzzer is sounded the participants will be required to immediately stop.
    1. Any impropriety, offensive language, ethnic and religious intolerance or racism is strongly prohibited.
    2. The ISEO committee reserves the right to withdraw any entry it deems inappropriate or unsuitable.
    3. Audio/Video recording at the ISEO venues is not allowed unless special permission has been requested for and given in writing in advance from the ISEO Committee.
      1. Attendance will be restricted to faculty members and members of the participating teams.

Note: Entries will be limited to the first THIRTY schools that register for the event.
